• Unfortunately this one didn’t really stick with me. Most of what I remember of it was lengthy descriptions of southern geneology and inter-family gossip type stuff. I think part of it has to do with that I was reading it in a more passive manner at the gym, and I think a book like this–particularly one more temporally and culturally removed from my usual fare–deserves more time than what I was giving it.
